Powder Coating Cure Oven Upgrade

Posted on 7th January 2026

One of our customers, a powder coating company based in Oxfordshire, has invested in upgrading their powder coating cure oven over recent months.

This work has included upgrading the recirculation and extract fan pressure switches, as well as upgrades to the over-temperature protection.

The most recent upgrade involved replacing their Ecoflam Max Gas 350 burner with a Lanemark MK6 FD10.

Key benefits of the upgrade:

  • Improved suitability for operating conditions:
The new burner is better suited to the challenging environmental conditions, including negative chamber pressure and a dusty atmosphere.

  • Enhanced burner protection and reliability:
The Lanemark burner was supplied with a combustion pre-filter, which extends the life of the combustion fan impeller blades and burner head by preventing debris from accumulating and curing on these components. This effective and affordable option significantly improves burner reliability, reducing the risk of burner lockouts and costly downtime. The filter can simply be replaced when required.

  • Upgraded temperature control:
The temperature controller was also replaced, providing a 4–20 mA signal to the burner, enabling full modulation of gas and air as the oven approaches the required process temperature.
