I first started working in the paint finishing industry in 1977 as an apprentice at Binks Bullows Ltd, an American-owned company at the time that manufactured various types of paint spray equipment, including the well-known “No-pump” waterwash spray booth. A highlight of my early career was being the youngest apprentice to win the “Apprentice of the Year” award.
I spent several years in the spray booth projects department and worked at various major spray booth and plant manufacturers, learning how they incorporated different manufacturing techniques and design philosophies. Over the years, it became clear that while all the companies I worked for were successful to varying degrees, most did not prioritise establishing a professional and responsive after-sales service. In cases where the companies did attempt to provide this service, the responsibility was often passed on to a third-party contractor.
Recognising a demand for a professional, efficient, and customer-focused business specifically aimed at servicing, maintenance, and commissioning in the paint finishing industry, I founded Premiere Servicing in 2005. Since then, every year, we have steadily progressed and now have a diverse team of skilled and trusted mechanical, gas, electrical and LEV test engineers, covering the entire UK and Ireland.
Moving forward we will maintain our high standards and professionalism and aim to consistently deliver reliable and efficient service and maintenance solutions, prioritising customer needs and exceeding expectations by providing proactive, quality care to ensure optimal functionality and asset lifespan, while fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and expertise.
