Data log (Oven calibration)

To achieve a uniform cure on powder coated products it is vital that the oven is providing sufficient and even air circulation. Good air movement often provides good heat distribution. Our calibrated data loggers generate graphs showing the heat distribution within the oven using air and/or component temperature sensors.

As high temperature process plant ages it can become less efficient, with insulation degrading over time and air seals becoming less effective. This can lead to substantial heat loss resulting in high running costs, uncomfortable hot working conditions and damage to electrical cables, safety interlocks, fans and gas burners.

Motor vibration and bearing tests

Out of balance impellors can over time lead to motor bearing damage.

Impellers can be awkward and time consuming to replace. Monitoring motor vibrations can provide an early indication of failure giving you valuable time to purchase and plan for replacement. Preventative maintenance is more cost effective than breakdown maintenance, our reports provide a traffic light system indicating the general condition of fan and pump motors, bearings and impellers.

Control panel examination.

From small offline box ovens to online conveyorised systems control panels are fundamental to the safe start up, supervision and shut down of paint plant. Premiere advise that control panel health checks are carried out as part of regular servicing.

A thorough examination on your control panel would pinpoint any issues, such as overheating of components and excessive current draw on all fan and pump motors.

Components such as safety interlocks, timers and controllers will be functionally tested followed by a detailed report after completion of work.
